Akura Bamboo Sushi Mat
The Akura or Ma-Kisa bamboo mat, the choice of many chefs, is used for making rolls and removing excess liquid from certain foods. The sushi mat meets all the standards used in Japanese cuisine. A mat for forming sushi rolls is a mat made of long thin bamboo sticks intertwined with cotton thread, one side of which is smooth and the reverse side is wavy.
